FELA at the IFI
As 2010 comes to an end we would like to wish all of our loyal customers, friends, supporters, funders and sponsors a very Merry Christmas and thank you for all of your support this year. It is only with your support that the Festival thrives and we hope that in 2011 you will be with us more than ever!
Something to look forward to... FELA! January 13th at Irish Film Institute
We are delighted to announce our next NT Live screening at the Irish Film Institute
is the Tony Award award-winning FELA! which explores the life of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti. Using his pioneering music (a blend of jazz, funk, African rhythm and harmonies), FELA! reveals Kuti's controversial life as an artist and political activist. After taking Broadway by storm, FELA! is stunning London audiences and with this special one off screening will certainly put a bounce in your step this January.
