Sunshine

So the sun is shining in the Festival Offices, the Summer is coming, reminding us of the long sunny evenings- stuck in the office putting the programme to bed, thank god we love it! Just got some pics in there for Hibiki by Sankai Juku, the show looks fab, so beautiful we cant wait to see it. Its the big opening show in the Gaiety so its going to look great on the new stage..



Also a big announcement in the Festival offices at the minute is that the Oscar nominated James Cromwell (Spiderman 3 / Babe / The Queen) is going to be starring in Druid's Long Day's Journey Into Night at The Gaiety from Oct 2nd - 13th. We seem to be sprinkling star dust on the Festival over the last few years with the likes of Aidan Quinn and Neve Campbell last year, not to mention that James is such an accomplished actor, aren't we lucky!

So Loughlin is away in Romania at the minute. Last I heard from him he was taking a 6 hour bus journey through Transylvania, the things we do for our art! Apparently the show was amazing so thank god it was worth the pain... Just realised that I haven't got one email or phone call since lunchtime, everyone's gone home for the weekend, maybe its time for me to go too..
